Dr. Segraves is an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International. He  enjoys studying, teaching, and writing about Holy Scripture. H received a call from God at the age of sixteen. Over the past fifty-four years since he graduated from two Bible colleges, earned the M.A. in Exegetical Theology with highest honors and the Th.M. with honors from Western Seminary and the Ph.D. in Renewal Studies with dual emphases in Christian Theology and Christian History from Regent University School of Divinity.

He has written more than fifteen books and he is a professor of biblical studies at Urshan Graduate School of Theology. Previously, he served at Christian Life College (Stockton, CA) as executive vice-president for nineteen and one-half years and as president for five and one-half years. During those twenty-five years, he served as chair of the department of theology.
