The President today announced his intention to nominate William C. Brooks to be an Assistant Secretary of Labor (Employment Standards Administration). He would succeed Fred William Alvarez. Mr. William C. Brooks served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of United American Healthcare Corporation from November 22, 2002 to November 5, 2010. Mr. Brooks served as United States Air Force officer and Vice President of General Motors Corporation since 1997. He held many other prominent positions in the United States.
